Kitchen cladding with Microtopping
Microtopping for a concrete
kitchen without tiles
Microtopping is ideal for cladding the kitchen. Ideal Work’s own micro concrete creates a room with a contemporary aesthetic, with the sophisticated effects of trowelled or smooth cement, typical of concrete floors that strike the eye with the industrial-chic style.
Moreover, the resistance of Microtopping has been put to the test in numerous trials. That’s why it is guaranteed for use in even the “worst treated” domestic locations, like kitchens. Indeed, if treated with the right protective resin, a Microtopping surface is much more resistant to liquid penetration (wine, oil, vinegar and coffee) than tiles, marble or wood claddings.
Finally, Microtopping is a great solution for cladding the kitchen walls and the cooking surfaces: thermal resistance tests obtained excellent results – the material was brought to a temperature of 115°C without displaying any defect. However, don’t run away with the idea it is indestructible! We recommend not placing boiling objects directly onto the work surface and the use of suitable cutting boards …we wouldn’t want you to ruin your new concrete kitchen.
